Onion Festival

Our region is well-known for its onion production. A large range of varieties, such as shallot, onion set or sturon, are cultivated by local farmers and are traded worldwide.

This tradition is annually celebrated with the Onion Festival of Thespies, a village lied on a hill next to Elikon mountain. Farmers, villagers and people from all over the world visit every year the Festival with the desire to become a part of this ancient procedure, the onion cultivation.

Agricultural machinery and rural equipment exhibitions take place in parallel with other folklore culture events, while a tour in the Mouses Valley would be determinant on that trip on tastes and culture.

Our family participates annually to that celebration by granting products to the organizers so as to offer a hot plate of food to our guests. Having the experience of that celebration, we try to communicate our loyalty to our products and inspire customers and other farmers as well.
